Smallest kitchen on the go!


 
Went to Cameron Highlands for a little get away and retreat.
In view of the freshness of the vegetables and fruits that are available up there...I've decided to bring along my little thermie.

Travel with my little thermie is easy. 
Not too heavy, easy to carry in the travelling bag!

Once we reach in Cameron, the first thing is to buy the fresh vegetables!
 You don't have to put in much flavor for the vege, with a pinch of salt and stir fried them, they taste awesome!

 Cooking is always the passion of my life.

Simple ingredients, simple food, simple cooking.

I only bring a small bottle of olive oil, salt, pepper and that's it!

Some might think, 'oh...tasteless...!'

I'm going to tell you, you're wrong!!

to taste the freshness of the vege, just cook them in a simple way!
not much flavor added will lead you to be able to taste the sweetness of the vegetables.

with this little thermie, I'm able to cook so many things at the same time.

Time saving, energy saving, environment friendly and healthy food is ready to be served shortly!

bare in mind, by using thermie, you don't have to worry that your kitchen/room/house will be filled with oily surfaces.

Everything is as clean as before.

Even for the cleaning process of thermie itself.

Frankly speaking, some said this thermie is way too expensive.
But, I've no regret of owning it.
Plus, I felt awesome and proud!

Once in a while get away from working life, have a little retreat up on hilltop and enjoy the cool breeze is kind of a good way to release the stress.

I've shared a little story during the assembly at work, titled " Put down the glass".

The story goes this way:

Once, a professor walked around the class and hold a glass of water in her hand.

The students are expecting that she'll ask about the half empty half full question.
Instead, she asked with a smile on her face...
" How much do you think this glass weigh?"

"80grams......90 grams..... 120 grams....." the students answered.

"I really don't know...unless I weigh it," said the professor.
"But what will happen if I hold it for a minute?"

"Nothing...." 

" How about I held it up like this for an hour?"

"Your arm would begin to ache" said one of the students.

'You're right, now what would happen if I held it for a day?' 

'Your arm could go numb, you might have severe muscle stress & paralysis; have to go to hospital for sure' ventured another student. All the students laughed.

'Very good. But during all this, did the weight of the glass change?' Asked the professor. 

'No,' replied the students.' 

'Then what caused the arm ache; the muscle stress?

Instead, what should I do?' The students were puzzled. 

'Put the glass down' said one of the students. 

'Exactly!' said the professor. 

'Life's problems are something like this. Hold them for a few minutes in your head; they seem OK. Think of them for a long time; they begin to ache. Hold them even longer; they begin to paralyze you. You will not be able to do anything.'

It is important to think of the challenges in your life, but EVEN MORE IMPORTANT to 'put them down' at the end of every day before you go to sleep. That way, you are not stressed, you wake up every day fresh, strong, can handle any issue, any challenge that comes your way!
Remember friend- PUT THE GLASS DOWN TODAY!

My Everyday Cookbook


I've been enjoying using my super kitchen machine, the thermomix lately!

I never knew that I'm capable of cooking so many things until I've this TM.

I baked, cooked, trial and errors until I've all these good food on my dining table.



Have you ever try making bak zhang or dumplings on your own effortless?



Or whenever thinking of DIY the desired food, you will end up saying,
"Aiyah, just buy outside la..easier..no need to wash so many dishes, so ma fan....no need to sweat like crazy and ending up being a maid rather than enjoying the home cook dumplings.."
Am I right? Not sure about everyone, but that's what I thought..really.

But since I've this Thermomix, I cook almost everyday. And bake more frequently.

Why?
Time saving; I can spare more time to spend with my loved ones, rather than hiding in the kitchen for hours just to make dinner for them.

Easy; I just need to prepare the ingredients and it will help me to do starting from preparation till done cooking.

Healthy; with the controlled temperature, all the food cooked with all the nutrients still in them without wasting any bit.
No burnt, no over cooked.

Fun; if you have kids, you can just let them enjoy cooking fun without worrying the safety as it is safe for them to use as long as they can follow instructions.

Clean; no oily surfaces, no greasy floors n tiles after cooking. Moreover, it can autowash!
Awesome isn't it?

Celebrating Labour's Day in Cooking Class

Thermomix - World's smallest and smartest kitchen!





Learned a lot in the cooking class yesterday.
In the cooking class, we have this cute uncle who is 73 years old now. He came to learn how to maximize the usage of Thermomix, the Super Kitchen!

Thermomix, the world's smallest and smartest kitchen!


We cooked steam eggs, steamed chicken, steamed rice, Fried vermicelli, honey chicken wings and soup.

All done in only 1.5 hours. Everything is super fast and time saving. With thermomix, you can cook with low temperature and at the same time keep all the nutrients in food!!

晚餐






Curry chicken and fried broccoli and cauliflower for dinner tonight.
Cooking is my passion but still have more and more rooms for improvement.

Cooking with thermomix is fun!
You can always cook something special or complicated and make that a challenge to yourself.
This cooking machine helps me to save my time a lot. While cooking, I don't have to worry about the pan burnt off once I didn't keep an eye at it...
I don't have to worry and keep stirring...

With thermomix, I can just sit back and relax while I put all ingredients in the thermomix bowl. Set the time. Temperature. And speed. Then it will be ready.
Easy. Simple. And fast.

Worried bout the washing part?
No doubt about that.
It can auto wash for you.
Few drops of dish washer and it will be as clean as before.

Amazing?
Yes. Indeed.
